  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 32 ounces frozen tater tots
  • 10.5 ounces cream of mushroom soup (or cream of chicken)
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat and Prep
  2. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  3. 2. Sauté the Beef and Onions
  4. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with the chopped onion until the beef is no longer pink and onions are soft, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.

  6. Stir in the cream of mushroom soup and milk into the beef mixture until well combined.
