- 2 cups fresh strawberries, pureed and sliced
- ¼ cup powdered sugar
Instructions
For the Crust:
- 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- 2. In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar until well mixed.
- 3. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of a springform pan.
- 4. Bake for about 10 minutes or until golden brown and fragrant.
For the Filling:
- 1. In another bowl, beat softened cream cheese with granulated sugar until smooth.
- 2. Add sour cream and vanilla extract; mix until fully incorporated.
- 3. Blend half of your fresh strawberries into a puree and gently fold it into the cream cheese mixture.
- 4. Pour the filling over your baked crust in the springform pan.
- 5. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 40-45 minutes or until set but still slightly jiggly in the center.
For Cooling and Topping:
- 1. Remove from oven and let cool at room temperature before refrigerating for at least four hours (or overnight).
- 2. Once chilled, top with sliced fresh strawberries and sprinkle crushed graham crackers or chopped nuts before serving.
