- 1/2 cup powdered sugar

Instructions
For the Cookie Dough:
- 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- 2. In a large bowl, cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- 3. Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla extract.
- 4. In another bowl, whisk together flour and baking soda. Gradually mix this into the wet ingredients until just combined.
- 5. Gently fold in chocolate chips.
For the Cheesecake Filling:
- 1. In a separate bowl, beat room temperature cream cheese until smooth.
- 2. Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract; mix until fully incorporated.
- Assembling the Cookies:
- 1. Scoop out cookie dough onto prepared baking sheets about two inches apart.
- 2. Make an indentation in each scoop and fill it with about one tablespoon of cheesecake filling before covering it with more cookie dough.
- 3. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown around the edges.
- 4. Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.
