  • 2 tablespoons matcha powder
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the Assembly:

  • 24 savoiardi (ladyfingers)

Instructions

For the Creamy Layer:

  1. 1. Whisk together matcha powder with 3 tablespoons of hot water until smooth. Set aside.
  2. 2. In a large mixing bowl, combine heavy cream and sugar. Use an electric mixer on medium speed until soft peaks form.
  3. 3. In another bowl, mix mascarpone cheese with vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Gently fold in the whipped cream mixture.

For the Assembly:

  1. 4. Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the prepared matcha mixture, just long enough to soak without becoming soggy.
  2. 5. Layer half of the dipped ladyfingers at the bottom of your serving dish, followed by half of the mascarpone mixture.
  3. 6. Repeat with another layer of dipped ladyfingers and top with any remaining mascarpone mixture.
  4. 7. Cover with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for at least four hours or overnight.
  5. 8. Before serving, dust with additional matcha powder for a finishing touch.
