For the Chicken:
- 3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup honey
- 2 tbsp hot sauce
For the Sauce:
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tbsp cider vinegar
Instructions
For the Chicken:
- 1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Pat chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
- 2. In a bowl, mix together honey, soy sauce, cider vinegar, minced garlic, and hot sauce to create the marinade.
- 3. Place chicken in a large resealable bag and pour in half of the marinade. Seal tightly and shake gently to coat. Marinate in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
- 4. Remove chicken from marinade and place on a lined baking sheet. Reserve leftover marinade.
- 5. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until internal temperature reaches at least 165°F (75°C).
For the Sauce:
- 6. While chicken cooks, pour reserved marinade into a small saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a simmer and cook for about five minutes until slightly thickened.
- 7. Once cooked, drizzle the thickened sauce over chicken and serve.
