Instructions
- 1. Cook the Pasta: Boil water in a large pot over high heat. Add elbow macaroni and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- 2. Make the Cheese Sauce: In a saucepan over medium heat, melt two tablespoons of butter. Stir in whole milk and bring to a gentle simmer. Gradually add shredded cheddar cheese, stirring until melted and creamy. Mix in salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- 3. Combine Ingredients: In a large bowl, mix the cooked macaroni with the cheese sauce until every piece is coated.
- 4. Prepare Your Bites: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a mini muffin tin with nonstick spray. Scoop about one tablespoon of the mac and cheese mixture into each muffin cup, pressing down gently.
- 5. Add Breadcrumbs: Sprinkle panko breadcrumbs generously over each bite.
