- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
Instructions
For the Filling:
- 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- 2. In a large bowl, toss the sliced apples with granulated sugar and cinnamon until well-coated.
- 3. Spread the apple mixture evenly in a greased baking dish.
For the Topping:
- 1. In another bowl, mix together flour, oats, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
- 2. Add cold butter and mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- 3. Evenly distribute the crumble topping over the apple filling.
- 4. Bake in the preheated oven for about 45 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and bubbling at the edges.
- 5. Allow to cool slightly before serving warm.
