Instructions
For the Filling:
- 1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- 2. Core and slice the apples into thin wedges. In a large bowl, toss the apple slices with brown sugar and cinnamon until fully coated.
For the Crust:
- 3. Unroll the thawed puff pastry on a floured surface and cut it into 4-inch squares.
- 4. Place a generous spoonful of the apple mixture in the center of each pastry square.
- 5. Drizzle caramel sauce over the apple filling. Fold over the corners of the pastry to seal them tightly.
- 6. Place the assembled bombs on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and puffed up.
- To Serve:
- 7. Allow to cool slightly, then drizzle additional caramel sauce on top before serving warm with whipped cream.
